Civil War Stories with Mark Buhl

As a living historian and member of the 10th Virginia Infantry, I will represent the common infantry soldier from the Shenandoah Valley.  In particular, the counties of Rockingham, Shenandoah and Page during the War for Southern Independence 1861-1865.  I will discuss what it was like to live the life of the Confederate soldier, how they marched, equipment they carried, rations they ate, and how they viewed the life in the 1860’s.
